Schools, Education & Public Sector
We carry out electrical work for schools, colleges and public-sector buildings across Greater Manchester, from individual projects to ongoing maintenance contracts. We understand the demands of working in occupied, busy buildings: keeping areas safe and segregated, working around the school day and getting larger works done in the holidays.
As an NICEIC Approved Contractor we deliver to the standards the public sector expects, with full certification, clear documentation and tidy, reliable work. From classroom refurbishments, lighting upgrades and distribution work to periodic inspection, remedial works and emergency lighting, we are a contractor councils and facilities teams can depend on.

Public sector questions, answered
Do you work in occupied school and public buildings?
Yes. We are used to working safely in live, occupied buildings, keeping work areas segregated and scheduling bigger jobs for holidays or out of hours.
Can you take on planned maintenance contracts?
Yes. As well as one-off projects we take on ongoing maintenance and compliance work for schools, councils and public-sector sites.
Is the work fully certified and documented?
Always. As an NICEIC Approved Contractor every job is certified to the current regulations, with the documentation the public sector requires.
How much does electrical work in a Rochdale school cost?
Costs are agreed per contract, but a periodic EICR for a larger public building typically runs £250 to £350, with remedial works quoted separately once we know what a report finds. You always get a fixed price before any work starts.
